Sony, the leading smartphone manufacturer company, will start selling its Xperia Z5 Compact in several European markets including UK. Company is providing Z5 Compact SIM to British customers for $680. Compact Z5 will be available in three color variants including Black, White and Coral. Besides UK, the newly built Sony's handset is also available in Sweden, Spain, Italy and Poland at a cost of around €599.
Sony Xperia Z5 Compact features a 4.6-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 720*1280 pixels and having the pixel density of 323ppi. The device is running on the latest operating system, Android version 5.1.1 Lollipop and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. It is protected by the scratch-resistant glass and layered with Oleophobic coating.
The smartphone have the internal storage of 32GB which is further expandable upto 200GB via microSD card slot expansion and clubs with 2GB of RAM.
At the Camera side, the high-end smartphone equips a 23 megapixel camera at the rear end with the phase detection, autofocus and LED flash. It is also loaded with some special features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, phase detection, HDR, panorama and have the front facing snapper of 5.1 megapixel.
On the connectivity front, it includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot and Bluetooth v4.1. It is also enabled with accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor, compass or barometer.
The device is backed by 2700mAh non-removable Li-ion battery which offers a standby time of up to 520 hours and talk time of up to 11 hours.
