Spice, the domestic smartphone manufacturer has launched F311 an Android Oreo Go Edition smartphone in India. The key highlighting features of Android Oreo Go Edition smartphone are Full View Display, a dedicated social share key to lure the young generation.
A fingerprint sensor is positioned on the rear panel of the smartphone. The company has launched the F311 in three color options: Black, Rose Gold, and Phantom Red. It competes against the likes of Nokia 1, Lava Z50, and Micromax Bharat Go that also run on Android Oreo Go platform which offers smooth experience even after low-end specifications.
Samsung is in the news planning to launch its first Android Go Edition smartphone expected to hit in the Indian market very soon, however, company has not disclosed any specific deadline for upcoming Samsung Android Go smartphone.
The Spice F311 launched in India at an affordable price of Rs. 5,599. The users can purchase the smartphone via online, offline and authorized retail channels in the country. Additionally, the company is offering one- year replacement warranty on the purchase of F311.
The Spice F311 has 5.45-inch screen size which offers IPS full-lamination with a screen resolution of 480x960 pixels,18:9 aspect ratio and 196 ppi pixel density. The dual- sim smartphone gets a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.1GHz coupled with Mali-T720 MP1 GPU.
To store content, F311 Android Oreo Go Edition gets a 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 32GB by using a micro SD card.
In terms of optics, the F311 gets a 5-megapixel rear camera accompanied by an LED flash and an aperture of f/2.0. At the front, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera coupled with an LED flash. Both the front and rear cameras have an autofocus (AF) lens.
The connectivity options on Spice F311 are Micro-USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G VoLTE, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the board are an ambient light, gravity, proximity and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
The Fingerprint sensor allows the users to click photos, answering calls, record voice calls, off-screen wake-up, and access select applications. It unlocks the smartphone easily even without having any password or pattern lock. It gets a 2400mAh battery which can be rated to deliver 240 hours of standby time on a single charge. The dimensions of the smartphones are 153x73.55x8.25mm.
