The 4G-enabled Smartphone: Vivo Y929 Approved by TENAA

The Chinese Certification Center: TENAA has again managed to come in headlines by approving a brand-new smartphone, Vivo Y929. To remind you, agency has recently certified a handset of this mobile maker, called Y27iL and publicized almost specifications of device before proclamation. And this time, it has again shared some images of Vivo's novel scion and disclosed its all the aspects.

As per listing of TENAA official website, device has been designed to disseminate the array of camera-centric smartphones and it has been claimed to be outfitted with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash alongside a 5-megapixel selfie snapper.

The inclusion of 4G LTE and 3G connectivity options along with dual-SIM support have been also mentioned by informant. To provide a seamless mobile-experience, gadget will be power packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor, which is clocked at 1.2GHz operating frequency.

On memory front, it will be armed with 1GB RAM along with 16GB ROM that can be extended upto 128GB via a microSD card. The handset will run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat decked with Vivo's FunTouch OS 2.0 UI. Talking about display, Vivo Y929 has been said to feature a 5-inch TFT display with a pixel resolution of 1280×720p.

The smartphone will be fueled by a 2,000 mAh battery, but details about its lifespan are still unknown. As per Gizmo China, front and back panel of mobile phone will be equipped with Corning Gorilla glass 3 and it'll have just 6.67mm thickness.

Moreover, the new quest of tech giant has been speculated to initially go on sale in the marketplace of China with a price tag of CNY 2,198. And, it will be showcased on the ledges of retail stores with its 143.6 x 71.1 x 6.67 mm scale and a weighing of 128 grams, but an exact date of availability as well as information about its official launch in other territories have not been specified yet.
