Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is on its full glory with arrays of devices. Lots of products are done with their appearance on MWC stage, and some are still waiting for their chance. In horde of tech companies, the Chinese juggernaut Gionee has succeeded in getting the opportunity to showcase its next flagship, Elife S7 for whole world.

Gionee is the first company who reached at the peak in its early age with its sleek smartphone Elife S5.5. This was the first smartphone which appeared in market with slimmest design. Later several manufacturers like Oppo, Vivo, BLU have come and started following this Chinese tech giant to compete in this fray.

Well, our prime focus is here nothing else than the company’s latest sleek offering Gionee Elife S7 that is cryptically 5.5mm thin instead of 7mm thin as its name suggests.  Apparently, this is not the first device of Chinese manufacturer with such slim profile. We can say it the refreshed model of Elife S5.5 which got the perplexing name- Elife S7. It seems like the Gionee guys has redeveloped an old device in new form with some upgrades.

This new flagship will give you the option of experiencing LTE connectivity on both SIMs; one will be compatible with TDD-LTE band while another will use FDD-LTE band to offer fast data speed. When you look at the device closely, you can see the groove on its edges, Gionee has given it a name U-shaped skeleton. The alloy frame and glass back panel are nice enough.

Let’s talk about the specs, the Gionee Elife S7 is amazingly crafted with 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects it. To lit this display with fast performance, 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6572 SoC with 64bit CPU architecture and 2GB of RAM work efficiently. Flavouring the handset with Android Lollipop with Gionee's customized UI topping on it, is delicious while testing on this new smartphone. To enjoy all of them impeccably, the company has packed this device with a potent 2,750mAh battery.

Maintaining its legacy, this handset also comes equipped with a stupendous camera module. 13 megapixels on rear and 8 megapixels on front have compelling camera features. However, no option of microSD card may disappoint you, leaving you with 16GB built-in storage only. Company has embedded this smartphone with enhanced audio experience; large speaker which is capable in offering amazing sound.

It is expected that it will receive the price tag between €399 and $450 which seems pricier while looking at the limited storage option. China people can pre-order this handset from now ahead of its launch on March 18 while India will be getting this smartphone on 3rd April.
