Vivo V11 with intelligent Jovi AI Engine Available From September 27

Just a month after the launch of the Vivo V11 Pro, the Chinese smartphone maker is all set to add another leaf to its India Line up in the form of Vivo V11. The 6.3-inch full-HD+ display smartphone features a notch in the shape of a droplet and also has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, it carries MediaTek Helio P60 SoC and is powered by a 3,315mAh battery which should serve all user needs. The X-factor is the Jovi AI Engine promising an intelligent smartphone user experience.

Price and Availability

Vivo V11 will hit the shelves on Thursday, September 27. On its launch, it will be priced at Rs. 22,990 and will be available in two color variants, Nebula Purple and Starry Night Black.

An interesting fact is that the Vivo V11 is one of the first byproducts of the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ program. A slew of attractive offers rea also expected to accompany the official launch on September 27. Some of the ones that we know as of now include:

Reliance Jio is also not far behind and is offering attractive benefits Rs. 4,050 on recharge of Rs. 198, Rs. 1,950 Jio vouchers and Jio Platinum Device Security. Additionally, buyers also get Rs. 2,100 worth Myntra, Paytm, and Swiggy coupons that expire on September 30.

Jio’s immediate Vodafone is also not behind. As part of the Vodafone Idea and Vivo partnership, the carrier is offering Rs. 499 worth liquid and physical damage in addition to the attractive data plans. It is offering 820GB data for a recharge of Rs. 198 to prepaid customers. Postpaid customers get 600GB data on the Rs. 399 plan.

Vivo V11: the budget AI Smartphone

The Vivo 11 would support dual sims and run on Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Another key feature is its Jovi AI Engine which promises voice assist unlike any other phone. Some claim it to be the most intelligent smartphone that can self learn depending on the user experience.

If reports are to be believed, VIVO is also planning a dedicated AI research institute to better cope with the development and demands of AI driven features. Expect more amazing AI features from Vivo in coming months.

The 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2340) Super AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio will serve all your multimedia and social media needs. Computing duties on the Vivo V11 are performed by the Mediatek Helio P60 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.

There is also an microSD card slot to expand your storage needs to 256GB.

As far as the eyes go, the Vivo V11 houses a dual camera setup with a 16-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor at the rear in a vertical arrangement. The front boasts of AI powered 25-megapixel sensor.

Some noteworthy camera features include scene recognition mode, low-light mode, backlight HDR, AI portrait-framing and AI face shaping.

The smartphone gets its juice from a 3,315mAh battery equipped with 18W quick-charging support. However, USB Type-C port might be missed by some. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
