A new Y- series line up has been added by Vivo in its product line a few months ago. Under the Y- series, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer had launched the Vivo Y93 in India in December 2018 which was the first smartphone in Vivo Y- series line up. Now, the company has launched the new 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the Vivo Y93 in the Indian market which has been priced at Rs 12,990. Previously, it was launched in 4GB RAM and 32GB storage configuration.
One must note that 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant shares the same specifications with a regular variant. It is available for purchase at official Vivo India website as well as offline retail stores in two color options Starry Night and Nebula Purple.
After the unveiling in the China market now the Vivo Y93 has been launched in the Indian market. It must be noted that the Indian version of Vivo Y93 is not similar to the China version.

According to the Vivo Official Website, the key highlights of the device include HD+ Halo FullView display, MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, and a dual rear camera setup comprising a 13-megapixel primary sensor. The smartphone has been preloaded great features such as Jovi Smart Scene and Smart Split.
The Indian version of the Vivo Y93 comes with a price tag of Rs 13,990 for single 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. The smartphone is to be made available at Vivo official website as well as offline retail channel stores across India. To recall, the Vivo Y93 was initially launched in the China market in early November at a price tag of CNY 1,500 (roughly Rs. 15,300).
The Vivo Y93 Indian version has been launched with Stary Black and Nebula Purple color options. It must be noted that the specifications of the Vivo Y93 China version and Indian version are not same. The smartphone comes with water drop-shaped display notch on the top which looks similar to OnePlus 6T.
The Vivo Y93 Indian version has a 6.2-inch HD+ Halo FullView display, 19:9 aspect ratio and has a screen resolution of 720x1580 pixels. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS layered with FunTouch OS 4.5 and supports dual-SIM (Nano). Under the hood, the Indian version of the Vivo Y93 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.
On another hand, the China version of Vivo Y93 was launched with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal memory.
In terms of lens, the Vivo Y93 comes with dual sensors on the rear panel consisting of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor with an aperture f/2.2 and f/2.4 respectively. Up front, the smartphone gets an 8MP selfie snapper with an aperture of f/1.8.
The Vivo Y93 comes with a vast of connectivity options that include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, Micro-USB with OTG support, and FM radio. The device has been equipped with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. Under the hood, the Vivo Y93 is armed with a 4,030mAh battery and the dimensions are 155.11×75.09×8.28mm.
