Giving it the price tag of Rs. 8,999, the mobile maker has given this handset a competent value. It will be going to sale exclusively on Snapdeal from Thursday. Company has claimed for its laser-etched back cover which will give you a different feel when you’ll hold the phone in your hand.
It runs on dated Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS which is very disappointing at this price while other low-cost handsets are coming with Android KitKat platform. Moreover, some of them are in the line for getting the Android Lollipop update also. However, it is said that Lenovo S580 can be upgraded to Android KitKat. It is a dual SIM device, having 5-inch HD IPS display that offers 720x1280 pixels screen resolution.
To make it a performance beast, Company has paired it with quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) processor which enhances the performance at a clock speed of 1.2GHz. 1GB of RAM on the other side binds the handset to offer fine multitasking. It comes packed with an 8GB internal storage and a microSD card slot which can give the option of storing upto 32GB data.
Lenovo S580 gives amazing picture-taking experience with 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear snapper comes loaded with several features to enhance your picture-taking experience through panorama, scene detection, best shot, geo-tagging, HDR, and smile shot. On the connectivity side, the handset offers 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio options.
