Xiaomi, after many other technocrats, has thought of rolling out the update to the flagship series devices. The company has been developed and established itself to the heights. There are many lovers who are addict to the MIUI interface. The interface is smooth and provides better compatibility than other Chinese brands. The new update that is planned to roll out, will surface various devices on October 27. The MIUI 7 is the name of the new update that will be rolled out. The polder MIUI 6 has got up an improvement with the announcement of such an update. The company has first introduced the Chinese version of the OS, which was followed by the international version’s launch. Earlier this year, many devices were launched by the juggernaut with high hardware specifications, but hardware specs are not enough. A smartphone needs better OS support too.
The company has released a full list of devices that will get the update. The list includes almost all the devices Xiaomi has introduced since the Xiaomi Mi 2 back in 2012. Devices like Xiaomi Mi 2, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4c, Mi 4i, Mi Note, Mi Note Pro, Redmi 1S, Redmi 1S 4G, Redmi Note, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi Note 2, Redmi 2, Redmi 2A, Redmi 2S and the Mi Pad tablet, will get the update. The date teased by the company is 27 October, as marked by the Xiaomi lovers.
Talking about the improvements, Xiaomi brings in a new room for the OS. Xiaomi didn’t change much in terms of the design, but they did make a number of subtle changes though. The company has introduces a new theming interface along with many theme pre-installed and many more can be installed. The customizable theme platform is provided for the user to customize the interface look accordingly. The MIUI 7 also consumes around 25% less battery than its predecessor and functions about 30% faster than MIUI 6. The update also includes Showtime, Auto DND, XXL Text and Baby Album features, along with a number of more additions.
