Xiaomi MI Note 2 With 22-MP Camera And Curved Display Launched

Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm launched its most awaited flagship smartphone, the Mi Note 2 at it's “Curved to Impress” event, held in Beijing on Tuesday. The handset comes with a dual 3D curved glasses as its highlighting feature, which makes it look similar to Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

The Android smartphone is available in three variants- 64GB inbuilt storage with 4GB RAM priced at CNY 2,799, 128GB inbuilt storage with 6GB RAM priced at CNY 3,299 and a Global Edition, which includes a support of up to 37 Global LTE bands priced at CNY 3,499.

As per further specifications, the GSM-handset features a 5.7-inch Oled flexible display along with 77.2 percent screen-to-body ratio and an 110 percent NSTC gamut. It is powered by a 2.35GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 Performance Edition SoC. Backed up by a 4070 mAh battery, the handset also comes with a quick charge 3.0 facility.

Concerning the optical part, the Dual-SIM handset is blessed with a 22.56-megapixel rear camera along with a Sony IMX318 Exmor RS sensor, a f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and EIS with a 3-axis gyroscope for 4K video stabilization. In front, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX268 Exmor RS sensor is also provided by the company which includes a f/2.0 aperture, a group selfie feature and Auto Beautify 3.0.

The MI Note 2 also packs NFC connectivity with a support of Mi-Pay. The LTE feature of the device speeds up to 6000 Mbps on download link with 3x carrier aggregation. The handset also includes an Aqstic audio processor, which will enhance the music experience and will be available in Piano Black and Glacial Silver color variants.
