Along with the Redmi Note 7, the Redmi Note 7 Pro has been launched in India at an event in Delhi. After China, India becomes the first market where both smartphones have been launched. The Pro variant is an upgraded variant of the original Redmi Note 7 in many ways including more storage, upgraded processor and improved cameras.
The price sticker of the Redmi Note 7 Pro for different variants are-
1. For 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the smartphone comes with a price sticker of Rs 13,999.
2. While for the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the smartphone carries a price tag of Rs 16,999.
The smartphone will be available in three color variants-
The Neptune Blue and Nebula Red color variants will be provided with a gradient rear finish.
The sale of Redmi Note 7 Pro will begin at 12 PM IST from 13 March 2019. As per the company, the smartphone will be available via Mi Home stores, Mi.com, and Flipkart. It will also be available in selected offline retailers.

Xiaomi has associated with Airtel to provide the buyers with offers during launch. The buyers will get up to 1,120GB of 4G data along with unlimited calling and can obtain free Airtel Digital TV. The Redmi Note 7 Pro will come with the free “ultra-slim” case.
As mentioned above, both the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro has been launched today. The former will go on sale from March 6 in India with the starting price of Rs 9,999.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Note 7 features the same “Aura Design” and also a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Dot notch (also known as a teardrop-style notch). For durability, both the back and the front of the handset are protected by 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 5.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 7 Pro carries 11nm manufacturing processor-based octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC. The processor will be mated with the 5GB and 6GB of RAM along with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage which can further be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.
In terms of the optics, the Redmi Note 7 Pro at the back sports dual camera which comes with a 48MP of the primary sensor with f/1.79 lens and a 5MP of the secondary depth sensor. At the front, the smartphone carries a 13MP front shooter for selfies and video calling. On the back camera, the smartphone supports 4K support video recording. In the camera app of the smartphone, the company also added AI (Artificial Intelligence) based features like AI Portrait 2.0, AI scene detection, and Night mode.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box OS with MIUI 10. The company says that it has included an enhanced system optimisation in the Redmi Note 7 Pro which gives 10 per cent faster system responsiveness. The smartphone comes with a big capacity of 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro also gets a fingerprint at the back, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone has dual-SIM support (hybrid). In terms of the connectivity options, the smartphone comes with Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, and Infrared.
