The next generation Axon-series smartphone of ZTE has recently received its certification in Russia. It is speculated that the upcoming 5G variant smartphone will be launched soon i.e. before July 2019. The certification listed the model number and the information about the processor of the smartphone. The upcoming 5G variant smartphone might be named as Axon 10 Pro. The Axon 10 Pro smartphone was certified in Eurasian Economic Commission in Russia from where the document arrived.
The model number of the ZTE Axon 10 Pro is ZTE A2020RU Pro. In terms of specifications, the smartphone might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset which is clocked at 2.84GHz with new Adreno 640 GPU. the upcoming 5G variant smartphone was first seen on the Geekbench platform which also had the same processor. The forthcoming smartphone, in single-core tests scored 3,824 and in multi-core tests, it scored 10,762.

In April 2018 in Guangzhou, the Chinese manufacturer initiated the development of first 5G smartphone which was based on 3GPP R15 standard. ZTE claimed that the smartphone passed all the 5G tests as it has tested the 5G calls, 5G internet access, and 5G WeChat at the Shanghai R&D Center. The company also got approval to develop the 5G smartphone from the Chinese authorities.
Till now, the company has not disclosed any of the information about the device but we can surely say that it will showcase its 5G plans at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2019. Formerly, the company asserted that it will launch the ZTE Axon 10 Pro in early 2019. It is also possible that the company might disclose the new smartphone from the line-up of Blade at the event and the Axon series might be launched in the latter half.
It is speculated that the company might disclose its Blade A5 2019 device at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 which will be held on February 25. The Blade line-up will come with the Spreadtrum SC9863A octa-core chipset. It will only have 1GB RAM option. The smartphone might feature HD+ display, and might run the latest OS. it is also speculated that the Blade A5 smartphone might be launched as an Android Go phone.
