ZTE has come up with the unveiling of a latest Android smartphone in its Axon lineup on Thursday at IFA 2016. The newly launched smartphone is dubbed as Axon 7 mini and will be available priced at EUR 300 (Rs 22,400 approx) in Europe and Russia this month. Apart from Japan, Australia and Saudi Arabia, the handset is expected to be seen in Indian markets too. In USA, Axon mini is already up for pre-orders priced at USD 400 (Rs 26,700 approx). It is available in two colour variants Gold, Grey.
The GSM based smartphone features a 5.2-inch full-HD AMOLED display and runs Android v6.0 Marshmallow. Just like its elder sibling Axon 7, it is an audio-focused device, which comes with a dual front speaker setup and dual microphones. The device is blessed with Dolby Atmos technology coupled with an amazing audio processor capable of providing 24-bit/192kHz audio, and high quality recording too.
ZTE Axon 7 mini also comes with an aluminium unibody design language and a fingerprint sensor at rear panel just like its elder sibling. The handset is powered Snapdragon 617 SoC (four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.2 GHz and four Cortex A-53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz) coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. An upgraded model of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory is also available in the showcase.
The hybrid Dual-SIM smartphone is blessed with a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, PDAF, and a dual-LED flash module. The 8-megapixel front shooter given by the company is capable of providing an amazing experience of shooting selfies. Internal storage of the handset is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

Connectivity options of the device includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, and a USB Type-C (v1.0) port. Powered by a 2705 mAh battery the device is fueled up with sensors like accelerometer, digital compass, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor.
