After launching its Small Fresh 5 smartphone last month, ZTE, the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturer has now come up with a brand new smartphone in its Blade series dubbed as Blade V7 Plus. The new Blade series smartphone also comes with a fingerprint sensor housed at the rear panel. Notably, the pricing and availability details have still not revealed by the company.
As a recall, ZTE unveiled the Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite smartphones back in MWC 2016 and has also launched Blade V8 smartphone variants at CES and MWC. Now, the company has backtracked and took a strange move with the launching of Blade V7 series smartphone with upgraded specifications.
Coming next to the specifications, the Android smartphone is blessed with a 5.2-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and 2.5D glass protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core Cortex-A53 processor coupled with Mali-T720 MP3 and 2GB of RAM. The new smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and packs 16GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
In term of optics, the dual-SIM smartphone packs a 13-megapixel rear camera coupled with LED flash and PDAF. A 5-megapixel front shooter is also provided by the company for selfie enthusiasts. The GSM handset is backed up by a 2500mAh battery, which has been claimed to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and 220 hours of standby time. Connectivity options on the board include GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, and 4G LTE.
The new ZTE Blade V7 Plus measures 148x72x7.5 mm, weighs 143 grams and has only been introduced in Russia and Australia in Platinum Grey and Ion Gold colour options. In Australia, the Platinum Grey colour variant of the smartphone is already available via The Good Guys, whereas the Ion Gold colour variant is exclusively available via JB Hi-Fi.
