Android 7.1 is the most highlighted news at this time, as the company in the previous month had announced that the developer version of Android N will arrive soon for some selected premium smartphones by the end of this month. Sticking with its statement, the company has announced the arrival of developer preview version of the updated Android version in Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, and Pixel C smartphones.
The Nexus users will have to follow some usual steps for getting enrolled in the list of company’s Android Beta Program. After getting registered, you will get an update notification by which you can install the developer preview version. If not, then the users also have the option to download factory image to use it by flashing in your device.
Other smartphone users do not have to stress out, as the company has also announced that other devices will soon have the Developer Preview version but has not given any word upon the timeline. Google also confirmed that the final version of Android 7.1 will be rolled out by the last month of this year.
The people using developer version of Nougat will see some major changes and improvements done by the company such as Daydream VR headset support, image keyboard, night-light, application shortcuts, improved and different UI, with a manual store manager. The company’s latest Pixel smartphones are also starting to be available on Thursday in UK, looks like this is the perfect time for the company to get developers preview version out for users.
