According to a media report, the Facebook has finally launched the long awaited Facebook App for Windows, that would be available for Windows 10 - powered personal computers and smartphones. The app that Windows was using till now was developed by Microsoft, but carry all the Facebook branding, design cues and API access. In this App, Microsoft has made sure that its smartphone platform has a Facebook client app, just like Android and iOS.
Back in April, the Facebook app for Windows 10 PCs and tablets got replaced by Facebook-made app. That time the Facebook-made Apps such as Facebook and Facebook Messenger was made available for desktop and tablet platform only. The company at that time had announced that it would launch the apps for mobile platform later this year.
Standing by its words, the Facebook has recently released the Beta version of its apps for Windows 10 which is universal, which means apps will work on all the platforms including smartphones. The Beta version is available on the Windows Store with some revamped settings and some slight visual improvements.
