It seems like the fate for the Google’s Gtalk messenger has been decided. The Mountain View giant has decided to shut off its successful and most admirable messenger service, to give a jump to Hangout. The Gtalk has been living as a monarch from a long time and adorned by almost every internet user. Stopping people from using the 9 years old messenger service is not an easy task. Even moving them to the other is quite difficult as breaking the trust from or leaving such an honest service won’t be easy for a human.
Consequently, Google has decided to compel people for switching from the old Gtalk to the Hangout without caring their appetence. Whether they really want to incline on another messenger or not, the Mountain View guys just want to force them to do so. It is said that Gtalk can take its last breath on February 16 and then it will be dead forever. No support will be offered by the search engine giant then; all the security and version will be ceased. That’s the fate of its most powerful and likable Gtalk messenger service.
Just like Orkut, it will also be reaching to its dead end and will become history along with its 9 halcyon years. Well, Hangout is replacing the years old service. Hangout however has been failed to win internet users’ trust yet, but the tech giant is thinking that it can. And, for that reason, company is logically taking such decision. Google stated, "IM service will be wholly replaced by the Hangouts app, which can used only via its Chrome web browser."
Let’s see! Whether such decision of shutting down the Gtalk will benefit the Hangout or not?
