Games and Hardware Piracy Prohibited by Windows 10!!

Microsoft's Windows 10 is freely available for Windows 7 and Windows 8. The latest OS is an urge over the older with auto detection support of piracy issues. The update can check for the pirated games and unauthorized hardware. Once the piracy is detected the system will block the hardware and software from running. Thus, the counterfeit software along with the hardware will automatically be prohibited.
Piracy prohibition by windows 10
The latest edition of End User License Agreement (EULA) states the terms of conditions legally provided to the company, to block the piracy and remotely uninstall such software. As spotted by PC Authority, the company can not only disable the counterfeit software, but can also disable the adjoining hardware. The revised 7(b) clause of EULA reads, “The company may automatically check your version of the software and download software update or configuration changes, including those that prevent you from accessing the Services, playing counterfeit games, or using unauthorized hardware peripheral devices”.

Words on counterfeit games have been mentioned but it is not yet clarified about the unauthorized hardware. On asking from a company's official, he said, “We take claims of intellectual property infringement seriously and review them in accordance with our standard procedures. We also continue to review the content of our Windows Store periodically as described in this blog post, as we work to deliver a great customer experience and provide fair and transparent developer policies and enforcement”. It is still unclear that, how the company detects the piracy with this update.

Piracy image to be imagined

Microsoft's verdicts are yet to send the clarification notes. Recently, after this reveal, the tech giant has also released 10240 EULA that states, “By accepting this agreement, you agree to receive these types of automatic updates without any additional notice”. According to this clause, the user will no longer be getting options such as ‘choose when to reboot’, ‘choose when to download and install’ and ‘never check for updates’, which were familiar with in Windows 8.1. Windows 10 updates will be downloaded and installed automatically and only then the user will be asked for when to reboot the system.

The new clause adds a creamy color to the platform by further quoting that, the one with low data bandwidth will be powered with the option to decide when to download updates.
