Google Cast Now Integrated In Chrome: No More Chromecast Gadget Required

Google has declared that it has now incorporated Google Cast with Chrome and users will no more need to install a different extension to beam videos from a website page to different screens like their TV. In January, Google representative Francois Beaufort declared that the Chromium group was trying this component in the beta channel. He credited the new Media Router for making it conceivable to fabricate Cast locally. Presently, the feature has been taken off into the Chrome channel for everybody to use.

Every website that supports chrome cast, a symbol will show up when you're on the same network as a Chromecast gadget. Tapping on the symbol will permit you to pick the home gadget that you need to extend the stream on - be it audio speakers, or see a web video on TV. For websites that are not integrated with Cast, simply go the Chrome menu, select "Cast" from there, and follow the steps to beam the video to your TV. The Google said that only the latest version of chrome has been incorporated with Cast feature.

As we know that the Google Cast extension for Chrome was launched in 2013, along with the Chromecast dongle. Until now users needed to download and introduce Google Cast Chrome extension to stream music, videos, and other web pages from the browser to their Chromecast-associated TV. However, this local backing of Cast eliminates this installation process. Google asserts that users have cast more than 38 million times from Chrome in the last month itself. In July, users watched and heard more than 50 million hours of content through Chromecast.

It must be noted that the Google presented its second-generation Chromecast dongle and the new Chromecast Audio dongle in India in April this year, and valued both at Rs. 3,399. The media-streaming dongles are available on a few online commercial centers including Flipkart, Snapdeal, Paytm, and additionally offline retailers like Reliance Digital and Croma. Google claims that the company has sold 5 million Chromecast gadgets in the last two months itself.
