According to the report, the service will be similar to Google Voice, where the application let users to link all their telephone, landline and mobile devices to a single phone number. The ongoing project has reportedly been named as Google Fiber Phone. The project is still being tested with the beta testers who are part of the Google Fiber Trusted Tester Program. These trusted testers are basically fiber subscribers who have agreed to become a part of any new programs or services that would be introduced as a part of this project.

The Google Fiber has recently launched high-speed internet service (5Mbps download speed), for US $70 and cable TV, for US $130, a month. The upcoming inclusion of phone services in Google Fiber will be another milestone by the Google, for the world.

However, no official statement has been released by the Google confirming the same and as of now it's also anonymous that which US cities will actually get access to this Google phone service. Though, the project is still in the testing phase, but still, one can be hopeful about the near-future release of Google’s dynamic phone services over Google Fiber.
