Google Introduces Google Trips: A Personalized travel planner

Travelling plays a very important part of relieving stress and letting your life go as the waves in the ocean. But to plan a trip is the most important part of traveling, and whether your trip glows your mind or blows your mind it all depends on the plan you made before heading on. So, Google, this time, has presented a new mobile application, to make your planning of tours and other travelling more easier. The application is basically dubbed as Google Trips which is available on both iOS and Android operating system. In the following application, Google fetch data from Google maps and from other traveler reviews to provide you a personalized travel guide to track your reservations, point of interests, day trips, restaurants, tourist attractions and a lot more.

The home screen of the application starts with a search bar at the top with a prompt, “Where do you want to go?” for tours and traveling and the remaining screen of the application is filled up with other cards, which will help you track down the current and upcoming plans.

The most helpful and attractive feature of the application is the availability of a feature by which each city you want to visit during your trip will be open in its own tab with larger “Trip” section. There is also a simple toggle switch there, by which you can download all of the required information for offline access.

Under the city section, you will find many other colorful cards help you to access various sections like, “Day Plans”, “Saved places”, “Food & Drink”, “Things to do”, “Getting around”, “Reservations” and much more.

Then comes the smart work done by the application. Google trips not only collects information but also can advise you that how should you spend your day? And make your trip a memorable one. It is able to suggest you the most popular day plans for over 200 cities worldwide. The data has been collected from historic visit data from past travelers and the sights and scenarios, which has been placed at the top in Google’s list.

This application is a perfect combination of crowdsourced data and other information provided by Google maps. In the following application, you can also tell the app if you have only this morning or this evening to roam around, the application will then show you the nearest destination or tourist point to save your time.

The Travelling is not finished here, as the application is fueled up with a lot of attractive features, moving on to next, here comes the automation part, in which you can select the place you want to visit and Google will plan and fill the rest of the day according to your selection. You can also try the “magic wand” option given in the application for more nearby sight options, to add during your tour.

During the tour, the application is also able to track Hotels, Taxis, Flights etc, which makes this application a better companion to go on with. However, while using the application, Google gets leverage to jump in your account data you have stored on your Gmail account as it takes information of reservations, tickets etc.

Google Trip app is now live on iOS and Android.
