Huawei has launched it's Android Wear-based smartwatch in India, dubbed as the Huawei Watch. The smartwatch was first showcased at MWC 2015 and began hitting markets in September last year. The Huawei Watch has been made available at INR 22,999, and will be sold on online portal of Flipkart from Monday.
The Android Wear smartwatch incorporates a 42mm case and can be used by both men and women, with various styles of groups that range from leather to metal. However, Huawei has made it clear that the Indian business market will just have leather bands. The smartwatch sports always-on watch faces and comes with a built-in microphone.
On the specification front, the Huawei Watch highlights a 1.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 400x400 pixels and a pixel thickness of 286ppi. It also accompanies a 1.2GHz quad-center Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 4GB of inbuilt stockpiling, and 512MB of RAM. The IP67 certified smartwatch additionally includes a heart rate monitor (PPG) and a movement sensor, both of which will engage fitness enthusiast. The other worth noting sensors include a gyroscope and accelerometer. The device comes with a 300mAh battery, and a magnetic charger dock and weighs 61 grams.
