The most-renowned telecommunication equipments maker Huawei has now entered an entirely league by launching the LiteOS for the household equipments that can connect to the internet. The company is latest in the arena after giants like Google, Apple and others are fighting to rule the market. This new technology will connect the appliances like TV and other. Well, the idea is not very old, but very popular indeed that the companies like IBM and Intel have also forced themselves in the market. This Huawei LiteOS will, however, is to deal with basic devices only.
At the time of launch, Huawei's Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer Willian Xu said, “Standardizing infrastructure will foster the development of Internet Applications including 'IoT' applications.” The LiteOS will be available for free and open for designers and hence it would be easier for them to develop connectable devices. The company also displayed its customizable wireless equipments as well.
