At Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona today, Lenovo unveiled a slew of new products. The Chinese company announced two Windows 10 laptops, a Windows 10 tablet, three Android tablets, two Android smartphones, and a global wireless roaming service called Lenovo Connect. Lenovo, which is the world’s biggest PC maker, also happens to own phone maker Motorola. While the company dominates in PCs, it is trying to grab a solid foothold in the tablet market with Windows 10 and Android offerings, as well as in its smartphone business, by offering Moto phones on the high end and Vibe phones on the low end.
Microsoft’s Surface influence is all over Lenovo’s latest laptops. Two are laptops with a tablet mode, and the third is a tablet with a laptop mode. The Yoga 710 comes in 11-inch (1.07kg) and 14-inch (1.6kg) models. The former is powered by an Intel Core m5 processor while the latter has a sixth-generation Intel Core i7 processor. Both feature Dolby Audio Premium, offer up to 8 hours of battery life (14 percent longer than their predecessor), and have an FHD (1920×1080) resolution display. Like other Yogas, the 710 can switch into four modes: laptop, stand, tent, and tablet. If you’re willing to go with the bigger 14-inch model, you’ll get “an innovative hinge antenna that delivers up to 20 percent better Wi-Fi connections than before,” as well as the option to go with a 256GB solid state drive. The 11-inch Yoga 710 starts at €799 ($890 USD), and the 14-inch Yoga 710 starts at €899 ($1000 USD). Both ship in May 2016.

The Flex 4 comes in 14-inch (1.75kg) and 15-inch (2.08kg) models. It also has the laptop, stand, tent, and tablet modes. The laptop can be upgraded to a sixth-generation Intel Core i7 processor with optional AMD Radeon R7 M460 2GB GFX. It delivers up to 8.5 hours of battery life. The 14-inch Flex 4 starts at €479 ($533 USD), and the 15-inch Flex 4 starts at €699 ($778 USD). Both ship in April 2016.
The IdeaPad MIIX 310 is a 2-in-1 10-inch tablet weighing 580g. It features optional 4G LTE, comes with a detachable keyboard, and provides up to 10 hours of battery life. It can be upgraded to 64GB eMMC of storage and 4GB DDR3L of memory. The ideapad MIIX 310 starts at €269 ($299 USD) and will be available in June 2016.
The Lenovo Tab3 7 and the Tab3 8 feature 7-inch and 8-inch displays and are available in White, Black, Cyan, and Pink colour variants. The larger Lenovo Tab3 10 Business is meant for enterprise use. The Tab3 7 starts at $129 (Wi-Fi only) while the Tab3 8 and the Tab3 10 come with $99 and $199 base prices respectively. The Tab3 10 Business will reach the shelves in July this year while the Tab3 7 and the Tab3 8 will be available starting June.
The Lenovo Tab3 7 features a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1GHz, clubbed with 1GB RAM. It houses 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card. A 5-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera are also included in the tablet, which comes with a 4G LTE-enabled variant. The Lenovo Tab3 8 sports an 8-inch 1280x800 pixels IPS display alongside all the similar specifications carried by the Tab3 7 tablet. Its 4G LTE model is priced at $149. The Tab3 7 and Tab3 8 also come with Kids Mode, Adaptive Display Technology.
As for the Lenovo Tab3 10 Business, the tablet houses a full-HD 10-inch IPS display and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz, clubbed with 2GB RAM. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Work, includes an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The LTE model comes at $50 more. The 3GB RAM+64GB inbuilt storage model costs $299. It will arrive in Black colour variant along with IP52 splash-proof certification, and Face Unlock. The tablet comes with Kiosk Mode, scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 3 panels. As for connectivity, the tablet sports NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi AC, GPS, RJ45 cables and card readers, and Dolby Atmos audio tech.
