Moto 360 2nd gen smartwatch has finally arrive in the Indian market at INR 19,999. This model has been introduced by Motorola Mobility as a successor to the original Moto 360 that had arrived for sale last year. The announcement for the launch of 2nd gen was made back in September and hence people were eagerly waiting for the newer version.. Prospective buyers can purchase the device online but exclusively on Myntra and Flipkart. As this model is an updated version of the previous one, there are certain changes that make it quite elegant along with some features that remain same.
Discussing the features of the latest Moto 360 2nd gen, it continues tpo be offered with a round face and a jarring flat tire. This tire contains an ambient light sensor that imparts a bezel frame to the device and enhances its looks. The location of its crown button has shifted towards 20'clock angle, while the watchband lugs are now positioned outside the case, which offers convenience in swapping the bands.
Moving on, the screen features Corning Gorilla Glass and the back portion is fitted with an optical heart rate sensor. It has also received IP67 certificate which ensures that it is resistant to accidental spillage and rain. The smartwatch contains 4GB internal memory and is powered by 1.2GHZ quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor mated to Adreno 306 GPU and 512MB RAM.
The device has been rolled out with two variants carrying the size of 42mm and 46mm whereby both support 20mm and 22mm watchbands. The former is available with 1.37-inch screen and 300mAh battery, whereas the latter is fitted with a 1.56-inch display and 400mAh battery. Some other notable features on the offer include wireless charging, health and fitness tracking, ambient light sensor, etc.
