Google has finally rolled out an update for its popular Gmail app, but only for Android users. Now, switching from one inbox to other is no more hassle for Android phone users as the app is going to update to offer unified inbox to display emails from each account in one place. The feature is called ‘All Inboxes’.
The feature will let users to list all mails in one inbox without switching from one account to another for reading mails and replying as well. As everyone in today’s tech world has more than one email id and accessing them all on smartphone or tablet is difficult, but this new option will remove this hassle and let users to access them in one inbox.
The same update for iOS Gmail app has kept under the hat as there is no idea when it will roll out for its iOS app. Another feature which you can see in this new update is Conversation View. This will manage your Yahoo, Outlook or other IMAP/POP accounts skillfully on the same Gmail app "neatly stacked as one conversation" as said by Google.
Searching becomes more effortless and fast, thanks to its new auto-complete feature which let you to type few letters and give you some suggestions to auto complete the search. Few other features have also been added in Gmail for Android app. Animation is the one among them which appears whenever you open or close conversation and scroll mails. Preview of attachments is also there with larger view. You can also save attachments to Drive in just a single tap.
