Qualcomm Bringing octa-core 64-bit SoC With Built in LTE Support

America based semiconductor company, Qualcomm has rolled up its sleeves to introduce 64-bit octa-core 615 SoC processor with built in LTE for the smartphones. In the pursuance of a Chinese micro blogging website, Weibo has disclosed that the new SoC equipped mobile phones are just around the corner. Here, if we take a peek on the recently unveiled Teaser Image of HTC Desire 820, which is also expected to be launched with the above mentioned microprocessor.

Ostensibly, its a putative brand in the field of wireless telecommunication products and services, which is the leader in next-generation mobile technologies and powering the convergence of mobile phone communications and consumer electronics. Hither, if we will shell out some features of this upcoming microprocessor, then it is paired with 28nm Octa core CPU based on 64 bit ARMv8 architecture.

The processor is arrayed with an Adreno 405 chip that will handle the graphics department, which boasts to deliver a jaw-dropping graphic experience among the prospective purchasers. However, the Qualcomm 615 SoC is integrated with eight A53 CPU cores to form an energy efficient model that will give powerful and dynamicprocessing for multitask.

As per the firm, out of the eight cores, four will be clocked at 1.8 GHz operating frequency and the other four will run at 1GHz clock frequency. At this place, it seems worthy to state that the firm is endeavoring hard to introduce cutting edge and upgraded technologies through its offerings to enable next-level user experiences.

According to the sources, Qualcomm's 64-bit Octa Core 615 and 610 chipset based handsets might be coming at IFA 2014, Berlin in the next month, which are specifically manufactured to enable best-in-class mobile experience with all-day battery life. Moreover, the LTE support in the processor will eventually lead to lower power consumption.

Notably, some reports are envisaging that these Qualcomm's yet-to-be launched octa core processors will face a tough competition against the Mediatek's chips. Articulately, Mediatek is a well know Taiwan based semiconductor company, which has already announced its system-on-chips in the marketplace and has also received good response from the consumers.
