To Make Bill Payments More Seamless, Vodafone Brought M-Pesa App

The prominent Telecommunications Company: Vodafone India has introduced a mobile application of its highly successful service: M-Pesa in order to make this mobile-phone based money transfer system easier and user-friendly. As we know, Vodafone has brought it through its owned subsidiary Vodafone m-pesa Limited (VMPL) with the collaboration of ICICI Bank.

Being a fast, secure and convenient way for the transaction of money in mobile platform, this application has the capability to make bill payments, send money to any bank account or mobile number and obviously can recharge prepaid number. Most importantly, with this application, user can load money to their M-Pesa wallet/account by using Net Banking, Credit card and Debit Card.

During the launch, Business Head of M-Pesa: Suresh Sethi stated that consumers can very conveniently recharge their mobile & DTH, pay their post-paid, electricity, gas and landline bills from their handset with a click of few buttons. He also added that firm is continually striving to bring innovative products and services relevant to the needs of their customers. And now, arrival of M-Pesa App clearly reflects its endeavor, which is highly secure and provide convenience to all customers to transfer money instantly, pay utility bills, recharge phones and etc.

To lure the consumers, company is offering 5% cashback on payments made through App, but it is limited to a maximum value of Rs. 50 per month and folks will get cashback for a period of 6 months. Moreover, this application is compatible with all major mobile platforms such as Android, Apple iOS, BlackBerry OS and Windows Phone.
