The most used video sharing service: Vine has launched a dedicated application for children, which has been named as Kids App. Acquired by microblogging website: Twitter, company has basically developed this firmware for 5 years kids and under, whereby they can enjoy hand-selected videos that are suitable for a young audience.
As we know, this firm enables users to record and edit short video clips upto six seconds as well as consumers can share those clips on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter or can publish them through Vine's social network. As the matter of fact, many surfaced videos over internet contain profanity and adult-centered humor, which can give wrong impact on kids.
So, corporation has brought its new invention to provide children a way to watch family-friendly contents that feature animated characters, funny animals and Sesame Street clips. Instead of scrolling up and down, appropriator will only need to swipe left and right to see new pop ups of videos. Interestingly, it has the capacity to play quirky sounds whenever the screen will be tapped.
The Vine Kids app is currently available for Apple iOS-based devices such as iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Notably, application can be downloaded via Apple App Store and it's compatible with iOS 7.0 and its above versions. Here, consumers of Android platform might feel little gloomy because there is no information regarding the arrival of its Android-congruent version.
At this place, head of the communications and marketing department at Vine: Carolyn Penner has explained about Vine Kids for iOS that "The idea came about during an office conversation in early January," "One of my colleagues was talking about how much his two-year-old daughter loves Vine -- he said he wished there was a separate app she could use to more easily watch posts that are appropriate for kids."
