Facebook-owned messaging app WhatsApp will add a new feature in the upcoming update of the application. According to a software developer, Javier Santos, WhatsApp Android version 2.12.413 will come up with this feature that will allow users to link their WhatsApp account with their respective Facebook account. The added feature will be optional and can be modified from the account setting tab.
The post also reveals that the upcoming update will also have more security fixes for the messages on WhatsApp, it will now give users the option to get a notification about their message encryption. The added feature would tell the users that the messages being exchanged are encrypted end-to-end and hence providing more security to their messages.
