Windows 10 App: Released By Dropbox For PCs And Tablets

Dropbox today declared that a Windows 10 App has been made available for all the PCs and Tablets user. This will allows the users to drag, drop, copy and paste files in between Dropbox App and Windows file Explorer on both Web and Mobile devices.

The announcement was made by both Microsoft and Dropbox and was put forward as the growing ties between both the Company's. They were teamed up together back in November 2014. Since then, they have done number of integration to mutually benefit each other. As like, access the Office documents via Dropbox Mobile App and was made accessible for users by Microsoft and later Dropbox allowed Office users to edit their files in Dropbox.

The new app has been build up on the Universal Windows Platform which provides support to the Windows 10 features like Windows Hello, Live tiles and Notifications. It also support other products like Quick Search, Comments,Jump List of Microsoft.

The current App for Windows 10 is very much similar to the one released for Android and iOS users. The smartphone version of this app to support Windows Platform will also be made available soon, the exact date is yet to be declared.

The latest release by Dropbox is just an extra access being provided to the 17 million combined users of the Windows and Dropbox.
