Xiaomi finally uncurtained the new interface MIUI 7 as mentioned in the 13th August Event. The company promises to provide a faster access over the devices by the new UI. The mobile OS will be beta tested on Monday for beta update along with the release of Mi4i limited edition handsets from August 25. The smartphone will be available in four color variants- pink, yellow, sky and black.
The MIUI 7 is launched for providing the better performance and faster access. The operating platform is reborn with performance enhancements and is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The new UI highlights the ability to record a short loop of video, which can replace the contact photo using the feature called Showtime. It has the interface supporting new themes with a theme based unlock pattern scheme. The theme can be a musical arena, a gaming zone or can be anything related to the kind of person using it.
Match scores can also be seen from the lock screen display. Games like Howzat can be assigned as the unlock pattern. The company on this part says, "We’ve already made two cricket themes in India and they both did so well that we decided to do it again but step it up a notch". Xiaomi MIUI 7 comes with around 1500 themes and a theme creator tool called Muse, that can create new themes by time. Daily theme, Weather theme are some of the themes the interface provides.
The company promises to provide user with the faster UI that takes very less boot time and features better performance. The user will experience an overall increase in system app response time by 30 percent, with low app loading time and less battery consumption that is improved upto 10 percent. XXL feature helps zooming the font size to provide larger fonts. The platform supports Hindi language.
Before mentioned Daily lockscreen theme can take picture from the baby album. Their is a baby Album feature which can detect the similar faced images and sort them in a single folder. The Child mode is another feature which helps you limit the SMS and whitelist the apps for your baby to use the smartphone.
The Beta update will be rolled on Monday which the features supporting Mute notifications, Opera Max data Saver for compressing images and videos, Smart SMS filter to sort the service and primary messages, Copy OPT button for quick OTP and many more. MIUI 7 supports 10 Indian languages.
