Samsung, South Korean Mobile Manufacturer is all set to reveal Galaxy S9 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) sometimes in February. The development of Galaxy S9 has been confirmed by the head of Samsung’s mobile business, DJ Koh at a press conference running at Consumer Electronics Show 2018 (CES 2018). Samsung has launched latest flagship smartphones at Mobile World Congress, apart from Galaxy S8 and it was launched at its own ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event.
The Galaxy S8 was available for purchase in the stores from April 2017, just a month after it was launched. It is expected that the S9 will be launched either in the March or early April. A box Shared on Reddit, which reveals a lot about the specifications of Galaxy S9, it sports a 5.8-inch QHD Display along with Super AMOLED screen, dust and water resistance, wireless charging, an iris scanner, 4GB of RAM, an iris scanner, an 8MP front-facing camera and 64GB of storage. It is anticipated that the Galaxy S9 will run on Samsung’s Exynos 9 Series 9810 processor and it is the “most innovative mobile processor yet”, said the company.
It is confirmed that excluding the United States Samsung Galaxy S9 will be equipped with Samsung Exynos 9 processor and in the United States, it will be sold with a Snapdragon 845 processor, which is the latest Qualcomm processors in smartphones. In terms of appearance and features, it seems that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will not come with the different design because Samsung Galaxy S8 was loaded with similar features that we saw earlier in Flagship smartphones of Samsung Galaxy.

According to the reports, it is suggested that the Galaxy S9 will also have a fingerprint scanner and also have inbuilt memory storage variant of 512 GB. Additionally, Koh said that the company is also planning to introduce a Bixby 2.0 feature along with more artificial intelligence (AI) within a year. The virtual assistant will be provided on all ranges of Samsung smartphones by 2020, said Koh.
Many companies have AI competence, but not many have hardware competence," Koh said. "We started a little later [than others] but we are confident in offering the best experience for consumers." The company also announced that it is planning to launch bendable phones in the coming year.
