More shocks to the pocket with high electricity bill

State electricity regulatory board has taken the petition on increment of rates of power generation and transmission. New rates will be decided within a month. Electricity is going to give more shock to the pocket of common man. After hike in cylinder, electricity price are going to give more trouble to the daily routine and expanses of people.

Sates three power distribution companies will face more burdens of 1400 crore rupees and to fulfill this burden, they will ask for to increase the growth rate of 16%. The rates will increase by 22%. State power Production Corporation is going to decide the rates of Suratgad’s sixth unit, Kota's seventh unit and Chabra's first and second unit for the first time.

Production Corporation has included the excess expenditure and it filed the petition in the regulatory commission for increment of 30 paise per unit. The hearing on this petition has completed and soon the rates of electricity bill will also rise.
