International magazine foreign policy created a list of 100 global thinkers, in which Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's name is included.

For the year 2012, they have made the list of 100 thinkers; the name of Nitish Kumar is ranked as 77th in the list of Indian people.

Indian economist Chetty is also informed in the list at no. 74.

Pakistan's former Foreign Minister Hussain Haqqani has a place in the list at no. 61 while the renowned African author Chinua Achebe got 68th place in the list.
