Wall Mart has spent 125 crore rupees for entering in India

Retail Company Wall Mart was eyeing on the Indian market for so long. The company was lobbying between parliament members of the US and it has spent over 123 crore rupees in to this.

According to the report of the US senate, Wall Mart was lobbying about the discussion on FDI in the Indian Parliament. It spent 10 crore rupees into this and it has been lobbying since 2008 for entering in India and it did not spend in some quarters of 2009.

In 2012, 18 crore rupees were spent in lobbying by the company. The opposition's claim against FDI fall down in the Parliament and after big political opposition the multi brand retail sector has opened for FDI.

Wall Mart's annual business is $444 and this super market chain has 22 lakh workers worldwide.

The Indian retail market is approximate $500 million and increment in the earning of people and spending habit may cross to $100 million. In next 5 years it will increase by 15-20% and India is attracting to world retailers.
