Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd. is an Indian venture of Japanese Company Honda Motors. After Hero Honda, Honda Siel and kinetic Honda, it is the fourth Indian venture of Honda, Japan. The first scooter launched by the company was Honda Active which is a 100 cc scooter. After that it introduced Honda Dio and Honda Eterno. Honda Unicorn was the first motorcycle of the unit and soon after that they launched Honda Shine. In 2001, Honda launched 4 stroke scooter named Aviator.
Honda factory is located at Manesar, Gurgaon in Hariyana. It has also got the ISO 14001 certificate in 2002. Honda uses PDCA cycle for environment management system.
