Land Rover is a British car manufacturer, headquartered in Gaydon, Warwickshire, UK. Indian company Tata Motors has acquired the Land Rovar since 2008. It was founded in 1978 as a product line of Rovar Company.
In 1994, BMW acquired the Rovar Group and again in 2000 it was sold to Ford Motor Company. In 2008, the Ford Group sold the Jaguar and Land Rovar both to Tata Motors. The first concept vehicle of the company was Range Stormer which was launched at North American International Auto Show in 2004 and the second was Land Rovar LRX unveiled in Detroit Auto Show in 2008. In the UK ministry of defence uses the Land Rovar models like 101 forward control, Land Rovar Wolf and Land Rovar Peretie etc.
