VOLVO is a trucks and buses manufacturing company from Sweden. The business of Volvo also includes marine supplies, industrial drive system and construction equipments etc. It was founded in 1915 as a subsidiary of AB SKF which was a ball bearing manufacturer from Sweden.
The first car by the company was Volvo OV4 made in its factory in Hinsingen, Gothenburg. Volvo cars sold to Ford Motor Company in 1999 for $6.45 billion. The founders Assar Gabrielsson and Gustav Larson also planned to produce a Swedish car in 1924 and set unique features as ability to ride in rough roads and cool weather that make the car very famous. Volvo products are trucks, buses, air services and finance services etc.
