ZTE (Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation )is a Chinese mobile manufacturing Company which was established in the year 1985 with Hou Weigui (Chairman) and Shi Lirong (President). The founder of this company was Hou Weigui. It has its head quarter at Shenzhen, Guangdhong, China. By 2012 unit sales this is the world's fourth largest manufacturing company. The products launched by ZTE includes wireless, exchange, access, optical transmission, and data telecommunications gear; mobile phones, and telecommunications software. It also offers value added services such as video on demand and streaming media. In 2011 it is the world's fifth largest telecom equipment manufacturer.
It has several international subsidiaries located in Australia, USA, Deutscland and Hong Kong. Around 89,786 people are employed in this company.
