The German automaker, Porsche has finally introduced its second generation sports coupe, 2017 Panamera at the world premiere in Berlin, Germany. The sports carmaker says that this is a completely new sports saloon which has been built from the ground up. The latest generation Panamera features a great combination of ultimate performance and the comfort of a luxury saloon.
Based on Porsche’s new MSB architecture, the 2017 Panamera features new design style, engine and technologies. The new Panamera is 34mm longer, 6mm wider and 5mm taller to its old generation model. The wheelbase is also got higher by 30mm. It also shares brand’s design ideology like the 4-point LED lamps, A-shaped air intakes. At the rear, the taillights get Porsche’s new generation treatment, both the lights are connected by a narrow strip of LEDs.

The exterior body style is not entirely different from its sibling, the new coupe still recognisable as a Panamera. As some of its body design elements are inspired by its famous sports car range, Porsche 911, such as coupe roof line, though it also has its own unique style with a new side window.
Inside the cabin, the latest generation Panamera gets some technology-wise system such as future-oriented display and control concept, Porsche Advanced Cockpit, customize LED display, and Porsche connect.
Considering its power and performance, Porsche offers this 2017 Panamera with two engine options, V6 and V8. Both the engines are paired with an improved 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission which offers easy and quick gearshift and making the engine 16 percent more fuel efficient.
The Panamera 4S is powered by a 2.9-litre V6 Biturbo petrol engine and produces 434 hp of power and 550 Nm of torque. It reaches from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds.
On the other hand, the Turbo variant gets a 4.0-litre Biturbo V8 petrol producing 542 hp and 770 Nm of torque, and capable of completing 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.8 seconds.
