Erik Buell Racing, the American automobile manufacturer has revealed its new upcoming street fighter bike, 1190SX. This bike is inspired by 1190RX super bike and now, the company has unveiled its street fighter version with some minor cosmetic changes. 1190SX has made its public premiere with 1190RX super bike during its press ride at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, United States, 2014. Erik Buell Racing (EBR) is based in America and it is a tech partner of Hero Motocorp.
1190RX is a fully-faired bike, whereas 1190SX is a naked street fighter. The super bike RX has been launched in October, 2013. EBR has not yet disclosed any other model details apart from its pictures. May be, the company is looking forward to feature the SX with the same V-Twin, liquid-cooled, 4-Stroke engine, with the same displacement of 1190cc, which was used in the RX. There are some changes in the headlight pattern of both bikes, whereas the wheel pattern and exhaust tail remains same.
Since, company hasn't revealed any features and specifications of the street fighter model, but one can inspect the visual features of the bike by having a look around it.
The aluminum twin-spar chassis of the bikes will also remain same. The braking system of the bike is managed by a 8-piston 386mm disc at the front and 2-piston 220mm at the rear wheel. EBR has decorated its RX super bike with so many features but unfortunately ABS is missing. Though, rumors are buzzing around that EBR is planning to introduce its upcoming bikes along with ABS version.
