The Japanese automobile manufacturer is nowhere less than anyone in giving surprises. The Yamaha has silently come-up with a new member which belongs to the well-known MT-Series motorcycles. Although, it's not exactly a new member, it's just another variant of the MT-07 motorcycle, which is named as MT-07 'Moto-Cage'. The newly joined member is a middleweight motorcycle, which is specifically designed carrying a disguise of stunt-inspired motorcycles. The upcoming variant of the MT-Series motorcycle can be said as the dark side of the Japan.
The MT-07 'Moto-Cage' will get its power from the very same parallel-twin engine with an engine displacement of 689cc. The motor is capable enough to generate the total power of 74.8 BHP @ 9000revs and a peak torque of 68Nm @ 6500 revs. The power plant of the motorcycle is coupled with a manual 6-speed transmission. The company has provided monoshock suspension at the rear part of the motorcycle in order to enhance the riding capability. On the safety front, the MT-07 'Moto-Cage' receives front and rear disc brakes and ABS, but as an option.
Like the company said that it is completely designed as a stunt-inspired model, so the MT-07 'Moto-Cage' is blessed with a bash-plate, knuckle-protectors and frame-mounted engine guards. The newly released motorcycle will be coming in a matte grey color incorporated with red colored graphics over the fuel tank and the tail light section. The main attraction of the Moto-Cage is its different colored wheels like rear black and red at the front along with red finished radiator guards.
The MT-07 'Moto-Cage' will go on sale from the starting of November, 2014. The upcoming motorcycle carrying a fuel tank of 14 liter will be priced at 8,480 USD (€6,690) which is pricier than its base version.
