According to a report, Yamaha is continuing to test the all new and revised model of its most awaited and rumored 2015 R1. Now, this time an Australian photographer took a picture of the upcoming model, which will be going to launch next year. The leaked image of this latest bike has been rolling all over the internet. The R1 get caught while testing at the Eastern Creek International Speedway, which is located in Sydney, Australia. And, along with this, there is one more surprise waiting for you, i.e. the company is also planning to launch two different versions of this sports bike. The first one will be a legal road-model and another will be a racing model.
The litre-class sports bike might make its official appearance at the world's biggest motorcycle show, EICMA, which will be going to held in Milan at the end of this year. The street version of Yamaha R1 must be cheaper than its racing version. Well, we have to wait for its official launch to get know more about the physical changes they differ from each other.
As of now, a report states that, the racing version of the litre-class sports bike will be merely used to fulfill racing purposes. The racing version will be featuring an inline four cylinder, cross-plane engine, which is capable to churn out a 230BHP of total power. And, the street-version of this sports bike will get its power from the engine, which is coupled with a dual-clutch transmission along with the company's patent revised traction control system. It is expected that the new Yamaha R1 will also offer electronic suspensions.
