The much-anticipated bike from the Pune based manufacturer, 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS is all geared to re-launch here in India. The updated iteration of the motorcycle has been spotted at the local dealerships. However, till now, the motorcycle launch has not been confirmed yet, but it is probable to hit the market sometimes in February month.
The dealer sources have notified that the bookings for this fresh arrival have already been started. The buyers only have to pay a token amount of INR 5000 to register their bookings. The deliveries against the bookings will be granted within a month.
All in all, the witnessed major changes in the 2017 Pulsar 200NS are on cosmetics end as the refreshed model gets relocated Pulsar logo, new ‘200’ decal and engine cowl. Moreover, the bike has also been painted in dual tone colour schemes which comprises red, black and white options.
Mechanically, a 194 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled, triple spark engine employed in the earlier models, has been refined to comply the forthcoming BS-IV emission norms. The engine is rated to make 23.5bhp and deliver 18.3Nm via a connected six-speed gearbox transmission.
On a sad note, the Fuel Injection (FI) and enhanced safety feature option ABS have also not been offered in the India-spec model, even as an option too. Expected to join the available Bajaj lineup, in the coming month anytime, the new Pulsar 200NS will be sold at INR 1.12 lakh (On-road).
