Continue to its cunning strategy of launching products silently, Bajaj Auto has now once again unveiled a range of its updated Pulsar brand, but not in India. Along with the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and the Pulsar 200NS Fi version, auto major has also launched the latest Pulsar RS200 at the same dealer’s meet in Turkey.
In terms of styling, the BSIV compliant new Pulsar RS200 continues to advance the synonymous design and dimensions of the current bike. Besides, it gets a mesmerizing new Black/Silver paint job, that has been gracefully applied on the motorcycle as the half fairing, front fender, and the tail section are painted in silver, while the rest of the motorcycle components received the Blacked out treatment with white taping on the alloys rims. The 2017 model dimensionally measures the same 1999 mm length, 1114 mm width and a height of 765mm along with a healthy ground clearance of 157mm.
Under the fuel tank, the Pulsar RS200 is fitted with a 199cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine as its propelling heart. As the company claims, the said mill is capable of producing a 24bhp of power and delivering an 18.6Nm of torque via a mated a six-speed gearbox. An advanced safety feature of single-channel ABS is offered as an optional, whereas the auto headlamp on option will be provided the standard.
Within last few days, Bajaj has endowed an updated range of smaller pulsar range with BS-IV engines, here in India.
