It looks like the famous automaker Maruti Suzuki is making competition with its own siblings that can be seen with its upcoming updates. Some images of 2017 Suzuki Swift have been teased online that is lighting at the changes with its cosmetic design that is similar to the recently launched Baleno hatchback in the market. Only some specific features are going to be tweaked while the basic silhouette of the Swift hot hatch will remain same.
In order to give it more aggressive look, front fascia has been tweaked with large hexagonal grille fitted to the front bumper, LED headlamps in angular shape and large air dam. In addition, a floating roof has also been added to roll over protection and to minimise air pressure. Moreover, restyled bumper and tail lamps have also been attached to the rear profile that offer more attractive looks.

The most striking feature of any vehicle is its interior and the company has updated it to a large extent. It includes fresh dash, floor console, twin-pod instrument dials equipped with a wide MID, revamped steering wheel and updated HVAC with new control with circular vents. Based on the new generation platform, the Swift will engage with 41 percent of tensile steel to slightly decrease the weight just like its Baleno premium.

Having all these upgrades, the 2017 unit can be performed with both petrol and diesel mechanical option. The former is stated to come out with 1.2-litre K-Series as well as a 1.0-litre BoosterJet trim might be also offered, while the latter may get a 1.5-litre motor. Expect a five-speed manual or an AMT or a CVT gearbox.
