The Indian subsidiary of the Japanese automaker, Honda has introduced the 2018 Model Year version of its premium commuter offering the CB Hornet at an introductory price tag of INR 84,675. Whereas, the ABS DLX version is available to retail at INR 92,675
In terms of styling, the motorcycle is continued with the design language of the outgoing model. However, the new Honda CB Hornet gets new sticker job for a refreshing appeal.
The newly added features on the 2018 Honda CB Hornet includes a full-LED headlamp, an optional single channel ABS and hazard lights. While the motorcycle once again misses on the kill switch.
Mechanically, no changes are witnessed in the 2018 version of the CB Hornet 160R. The motorbike continues to get the propelling power from the 163cc single cylinder, air-cooled engine of the outgoing model. The mill is rated to generate the maximum power of 15.7bhp at 8500rpm and 14.7Nm of peak torque at 6500rpm via a mated five-speed gearbox.

In the naked street fighter segment, the CB Hornet 160R goes in competition with the likes of the Yamaha FZ S V2.0 and the Suzuki Gixxer. Equipped with the Honda’s patented CBS technology, the variant is available at INR 89,175 whereas to retail the ABS standard variant you have to spend INR 90,175.
