The all-new Indian Scout Bobber, which is said to be a stripped down version of the existing Indian Scout has been added to the Indian Motorcycle’s line-up. The bike is priced at $11,999 in the US and its expected delivery to their prescribed owners will be given in September 2017. While the Indian market is expected to see its presence in coming months at a slight premium price tag than the Indian Scout, something around Rs. 13.21 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.
If this new Bobber styled scout member is compared to the ongoing Indian Scout, the 2018 Indian Scout Bobber has only received changes at the cosmetic front. As this blacked out, stripped down Scout gets little covering around the headlamp, chopped front and rear fender, street tracker handlebar with bar-end mirrors, massive fuel tank with brand name inscribed in block letter, new engine covers, chunky tyres, new alloy wheels and slotted black exhaust pipes, to offer a bold and aggressive look. In India, the Scout Bobber is likely to make its debut by the end of this year and will go in competition with the likes of the Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber, Harley Davidson Forty-Eight and the new Triumph Bonneville Bobber in this segment.
