Lexus India has introduced 2018 ES 300h hybrid with a price tag of Rs. 59.13 lakh. The latest model of the front-wheel-drive Global Architecture-K of Lexus which is a derivative of Toyota’s TNGA platform, a parent company that gets revised styling to the interior and exterior, and obtains a strong hybrid powertrain.
The next-gen ES obtains a bolder appearance along with trademark spindle grille of Lexus occupying center stage. It obtains design cues from the brand’s flagship LS sedan along with dynamic rear end and a sharper and larger LED headlights. It gets a newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels which appear larger than the last model. The next-gen ES obtains a nine exterior paint coverings available on offer.

The cabin of the 2018 Lexus ES 300h hybrid has been updated with the new detailing. The dark brown colored dashboard is going more towards the driver. The dashboard measures a 12.3-inch infotainment system which is operable on a voice-recognition technology and a touchpad. It comes equipped with a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster which takes power from the larger LS sedan and displays the available several drive modes. The new ES as well showcases managed 998.6mm of legroom available to the rear passenger and a longer wheelbase as compared to the outgoing model.
Lexus delivers four interior color paint choices which include Rich Cream, Topaz Brown, Chateau and Black and three sorted out cabin trims comprise a lighter-colored Bamboo trim, a black-colored and brown-colored Shimamoku wood trim.

It obtains other kits as well available on offer with the sedan. The new ES gets a heating function in front seats and a button on the B-pillar can silt the seat forward as well. Further, the rear seats obtain a power-recline feature as well. The 17-speaker Mark Levinson Pure Play system is also available across all the variants. The safety kit retains its place with stability control, hill-start assist and 10 airbags.
Coming to the mechanics, it is powered by a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine which works parallel with an hybrid motor. The motor is able to deliver a peak power of 218hp and follows the Euro-VI-compliant.
