Here is a good news for those who are die-hard fans of adventure motorcycles, as one of the most dominating automakers in this segment, Triumph Motorcycles is all geared to launch the 2018 Tiger 800 motorcycle range in India as soon as possible. Though, the unofficial bookings for the same have been started at the dealerships. To register, you have to submit a token amount around of INR 1 lakh. While, the deliveries against bookings will be given by the end of April 2018, as expected.
For a reminisce, this whole new 2018 Triumph Tiger 800 range was recently showcased in front of the global audience at the EICMA show last year. Here in India, the range will be offered in XR and XC series.
If the Tiger 800 XR is being considered, the next generation model received over 200 updates at chassis and engine front. It is one of the most advanced models in the segment which is packed with top end technological aspects and equipment that made it a complete road focused adventure tourer.
While, the Tiger 800 XC range that is renowned for style and premium bodywork instead of its off-road capability and all-road comfort, also get updated on the front is recognized all over the world. Other than this, it also gets a host of new technological aspects and features to make it a great off-roader.
Here are some highlighted features and technologies that the buyers will get with this new 2018 Tiger 800 range. That includes LED Headlight, tail light, indicators, DRLs, auxiliary lights, six riding modes with a new XC range’s ‘Off-Road Pro’ riding mode and adjustable full-color TFT display.
Beneath the fuel tank, the 800cc inline three-cylinder engine in integration with a six-speed transmission develops 95PS of power at 9,500 rpm and 79Nm of torque at 8,050 rpm. The launch for the new 2018 Triumph Tiger 800 range is expected to announce at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo.
